“Insert generic bio here” isn’t really my style but in case it really is a secret requirement to list your education and where you hail from, here we go.

I received a Bachelor of Science from the University of San Francisco where I majored in Biology with a minor in Gerontology (that’s the scientific study of old age). Southern California University of Health Sciences is where I learned how to stick needles in people and after 4 years I graduated as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (my diploma says Valedictorian which means I was pretty good at it). I am board certified by the California Acupuncture Board and hold a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine - a fancy way of saying I am legally allowed to practice acupuncture and prescribe Chinese herbs. I was birthed in Palo Alto, spent a couple young years in Germany, “sprechen sie deutch?” is typically the follow up question when I divulge this fact (answer is “Ya”; thanks dad) and then moved back to San Francisco which is where I lived the majority of my life until I decided to trade in Karl the fog for some Southern California sunshine.
